The plasticizing efficiency of this product is the same as that of DOP, but its cold resistance, weather resistance, volatility resistance and stability to the viscosity of plasticized paste are better than that of DOP, and its electrical insulation is slightly worse than DOP. Because of its high price, it is not widely used. This product is a non-toxic plasticizer and can be used to make food packaging materials and also used as a solvent and gas chromatography stationary solution.
